It’s been a few weeks since our last blog and we’ve been busy. After our district council in Marianna, Florida we started our two month road trip. Since January we’ve already broken the 11000-mile mark in our van!
For the past several weeks we’ve been sharing with congregations and friends throughout Florida, Virginia and Ohio. It’s been great updating our partners on what their support is doing around the world.
We’ve also had the opportunity share in a few milestones. While in Virginia, we were able to stay with our dear friends, the Jernigans. We were in town during Amanda’s graduation from college so it was great to celebrate with them. We love this couple!!!
Once in Ohio, we were able to celebrate with my (Josh) brother Ben. He graduated from High School and is getting ready to head off to boot camp this summer. We’re so proud of him. At his graduation party we even had the chance to visit with our friend Nalinh from Laos! She’s here on a study program.
Ohio involved lots of coffee and lunch meetings and even time with local fellowships. Tonya and I were also able to have a little getaway for our anniversary. It was the first time we’ve left Noah overnight for a few days and we did ok haha. The grandparents also had plenty of time with our little man!
We are now heading to Springfield, MO for 3 weeks of training. It will be great spend more time learning, preparing, and fueling the passion for our return to Laos!
All of the travel can be tiring sometimes but it’s really a blessing to have such so many friends and family all over the US that are partnering with Laos. The Father has given us so many opportunities to experience life with such incredible people.
